Maternity Session in Palm Springs

Elizabeth was breathtaking. She drew near to the bold changes her body was undertaking. Expanding in each direction with grace as her womb made room for her miracle baby girl. Making room for joy and purpose. Oh sweet Leia, you are so loved already.

The miracle of motherhood. It is empowering yet terrifying. It is glorious and yet draining. Motherhood stretches you physically and emotionally. Our bodies carry reminders of the miracle we gave birth to. Reminders we don’t welcome with open arms. Our bodies ache and don’t respond the way they used to.

Sleep is a foreign subject to us and we feel more like a source of food than the vibrant woman planning brunches nine months ago. YET…we would do it all over again and again. This is the miracle of motherhood.
